Andrew Will Sheridan: The Sheridan vineyard has produced what the first years promised. The wine is complete with a compelling earthiness added to the usual plum and currant flavors of this vineyard. It may well in time be the perfect compliment to its two cousins Ciel and Champoux. Starting out with new fruit from young vineyards is always a leap of faith. With the 2004 vintage I believe the vineyard has shown that it can fulfill its promise. The middle body is soft and succulent leading to a well defined but not overly tannic finish.
