Waterbrook Winery: Bright garnet hues bounce around in this expertly crafte blend. Rich black fruit and dark chocolate on the nose iwth pleasant nuances of tobacco and currant, finishing with an elegant hint of cedar.

Wine Spectator - HS: Rich in texture, with cedar, green olvie and blueberry flavors on a muscular frame, but it's not heavy, just impressively focused to point the flavors to a long, long finish. The fruit echoes strongest. Drink now through 2008.

Wine & Spirits: This blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and petit verdot has a delicacy of flavor that is usually overcome in a Red Mountain wine by sheer force. Here the cabernet franc shows through with tangy cedar and cigar box aromas. And yet, on the palat it is unquestionably Red Mountain; rich, deep, monolithic and grave, showing just a glimpse of the pleasures ahead.
